History Place hosts historical and educational programs
that are supported by local
sponsors. Authors, historians, political figures,
teachers, and community members speak on topics both historical
and current. Programs
are open to the general public and the cost is $2.00. Members
and children are free. Come see what Your History
Place has to
offer!
You or Your Business can be a Program Sponsor. If
you, your business or organization would like more information
about becoming a program sponsor, please contact us at (315)
735-3642. Your $125 sponsorship helps bring quality programs
to members
while giving you recognition in the media, in printed materials
and at the program.

Saturday, November, 22, 10AM to 3PM— Second annual OCHS BIG Book and Bake Sale - Admission is free.
This book and gift sale features dozens of new local history books, special discounts on selected titles, gift card and merchandise raffles, and a wide assortment of used books and vintage record albums. The new Landmarks Society of Greater Utica ornament, featuring the Utica Free Academy, is also available. Visitors may also purchase historical society gift certificates and memberships at this sale, which will be held in the society's main exhibit gallery. All exhibits will remain open to the public. |
